Просится ИС в 24-70, всё-же. Тем более Кэнон умеет делать ремейки с ИС, превосходящие оригинал без оного (70-200 f/4 IS). Для 21 МП Марка старый 24-70 будет слабоват, уже на Марке 2 отмечали lens limited фактор на примере 24-70.

One thing we can see here which wasn't so apparent with our studio comparison is that the EOS-1Ds Mark II's full size sensor puts much greater emphasis on the edge and corner quality of the lens, and despite this being Canon's best 'normal zoom' lens we can see that the edges and corners are noticeably softer than the D2X image as well as some chromatic aberrations.
